Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro, the two tallest peaks in Africa are located in East Africa, as well as Africa's largest freshwater lake, Lake Victoria, and Africa's deepest lake, Lake Tanganyika. The Great Rift Valley, the greatest valley in the world visible from space, is also located in East Africa.
